If you are a designated officer under the Police Complaints and Discipline Act 2016 you have reporting obligations.

Designated officers include:

• Police officers
• Police cadets
• Special constables.

If you reasonably suspect another designated officer of corruption, misconduct or maladministration you must report it.

You can make a report to the OPI or you can speak directly to SAPOL’s Internal Investigation Section.
